Stunning...

What VST's did you use? I really enjoyed listening to...your...weiner.......singing.....
........ .... .....(and the rest)

I like the sound of it, could use some strings or something in the background to qualify for ng though.
What VST did you use for the oc?

I don't know, it was a nice melody you built up, but for being a loop, it feels a little repetitive. It's like something is missing, might be what kwongo1 said or maybe another part with a little different melody in it

Good job anyhow, 4+/5

wow, stunning, I love it!
I don't think I can figure out much to say about the song that haven't been said, really epic song and I'm sure downloading it.

It started great, and I was doubtful if it could keep it the whole song through, it both did that and got even better!
Thanks for the great song and keep 'em coming!

DjClyme responds:

wow, I'm glad you liked it so much! I tried pretty hard to keep this song awesome from beginning to end. ;)

It was about 1½ years (I assume) since I last listened to this version, and I still love it to the fully.
It's an really epic version of an already epic song. Both the piano and guitar parts are really great, especially the piano-parts since it's kinda hard to find a song that uses it so well :D

Good job and keep 'em coming

rtnario responds:

That's true, although I think there should have been more piano in this one in the end. It seems like the guitar's overpowering the piano parts, it would've been fun to have more of an orchestra duel kind of thing XD

Thank you!

Sweet

The song was really great (repeated it without thinking about it), but I feel that all the sounds aren't top-notch, they are good, but not perfect.
You got my 5/5 at least, keep 'em coming

spot1techno responds:

Thanks a lot! and I I understand what you mean. Yet I am actually somewhat of a proponent in using slightly worse quality sounds to establish a more natural and organic vibe.

Sweet

I havn't heard the original so I don't have anything to compare with (only PM I havn't played), but from what I hear now this might as well have been in the game
It's a really nice quality on the music and it reminds me a lot of the musicstyle they have in the paper mario games
I really enjoyed listening to this and especially the violin just before it loops perfectly :D

MyVGworld responds:

Thanks! I don't know anymore to say. Since I'm in the top 50 at the audio portal, I get much more reviews, and I don't know things to say anymore! :P Lol!

Wow, sweet!

I ended up on the toplist with a crappy remix that didn't deserve to be there, this one certainly did deserve it's place
Really great job on this, I'm at my third loop atm, and it will be more :)

I love catchy tunes
I love 8-bit
I love old (and new) Nintendo-games

Just stunning! Got that really nice melody, great beats and it would use the old consoles music-engine to the maximum!

Or4nges responds:

... :D

This is a title

I'm going to point out the stuff I didn't like here and then just tell you that I loved the rest

The melody of the pianoparts are a little off sometimes (great sound quality though, what VST did you use?)
The acapella is a little too overused on the www. Would be nice to hear some other versions, but it suits really nice on the parts where it's the drums and melody only
And finally, the sudden stops at around 2:00 was a little annoying too

That said, I loved the rest!
